Welcome to My Web and Blog

27 October 2008

My name is Tim Sanderson. I am married to Janet, and we have one son – Christopher.

Both now retired, Janet was a freelance Hairdresser, and we both enjoy (some!) films, musicals, theatre etc. We try to eat out frequently, but do not consider ourselves experts at any of the above.

Christopher works in the Banking industry.

Until the end of 2003, I worked for the local electricity Distribution Company. I then became “self-employed” as a consultant, and had more time to pursue my hobbies! I originally trained as an electrical engineer. I now apply these skills, and others learned over the years to Model and Miniature Railways. I finally retired in 2016.

We have several interests:

Christianity – We worship at  Haywards Heath Baptist Church, West Sussex, (UK). The Church has our own site

http://www.hhbchurch.org.uk

Janet enjoys Line Dancing, and is better at it than she gives herself credit for!

Chris enjoys pretty well anything to do with Computers.

I also enjoy Steam Railways – Full size, Miniature, and Model, primarily Narrow Gauge based. I appreciate any Railway topics, and anything steam operated, on Road, Rail or Water!

The rest of this site covers my railway interests – Elmgate Models.
